PCM RAILONE supported the Rapur Tunnel project in southeast India by supplying durable concrete rail sleepers and guiding the installation of the RHEDA 2000® track system. This 6.5‑km tunnel shortens the transport route from the port of Krishnapatnam by around 80 km, helping businesses and public authorities save significant time and money each week. For the project, PCM RAILONE delivered 12,500 sleepers produced at its Jalpaiguri plant and provided engineering support from planning through completion. The result shows how PCM’s wider group combines manufacturing expertise and on‑site know‑how to deliver reliable, cost‑efficient rail solutions—even in challenging environments like mountain tunnels.
